Our firm was retained to renovate an existing 2600 s.f. 1950’s home and turn it into a modern open plan. We enlarged the original house 1,500 s.f. by adding a new master bedroom and bathroom and extending a guest bedroom, hallway bathroom and adding a guest bathroom and laundry room. The house was updated with all new electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, insulation, standing seam metal roof and a painted epoxy flooring throughout. The owner wished to raise the existing 8′ ceiling to 10′ in the living area. This was accomplished by removing a portion of the existing roof and installing a new 35′ long steel beam.
