The goal was to build a hurricane resistant three stall horse barn with a tack and feed room, two wash areas and a separate storage space for the owner’s business materials. Providing air movement throughout the barn interior is very key to keeping the barn as cool as possible, especially in the hot south Florida summer days. The owner also wanted to have good sight lines from the main house to the barn for security reasons.
