The owner requested that we enlarge their small 1970’s kitchen. There was a wall separating the kitchen from a small dining area thus breaking up the space. The owner requested a larger/open kitchen to accommodate large social gatherings that they have. We removed the wall to incorporate a larger open space with a wrap around counter top. The ceiling hung cabinetry with glass doors on both sides emphasized the open views between the two areas. The island sink counter incorporated a separate rolling butcher block cabinet for table service. Since the owner enjoys cooking a new gas stove was provided with a new custom exhaust hood. A new wine cooler and refrigerator was built in to new wall cabinetry under the existing stairway.
