We donated our architectural services for the development of a memorial called the Gan Shalom(Garden of Peace) for Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El in Plantation. The intent of the memorial was to provide a reflection area represented by the memorial wall, fountain and adjacent personal seating areas. A more public space to be used for gatherings was developed on the opposite side of the fountain area. The design intent was to have the water cascade down the wall over a rough texture stone that would then splash over the smooth stone with the engraved names representing tears.
